BINUS University Appreciation Day 2024: Celebrating Excellence on Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day
On August 17, 2024, coinciding with the 79th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence, BINUS University celebrated its Appreciation Day 2024. The event was held at BINUS Main Campus @Alam Sutera, where awards were presented to students and faculty members who had achieved significant accomplishments at the international, national, and provincial levels. The ceremony was a testament to BINUS University’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing excellence within its academic community.

The event was graced by key figures from BINUS Higher Education & Professional Services, including President Stephen Wahyudi Santoso, Vice Presidents George Wijaya Hadipoespito, Michael Wijaya Hadipoespito, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo. Rector Dr. Nelly, along with several Vice Rectors, including Prof. Dr. Engkos Achmad Kuncoro, Dr. Reina, Dr. Ir. Yohannes Kurniawan, and Johan, S.Kom., also played significant roles in the event. Their presence highlighted the importance of the occasion and their collective support for the outstanding achievements of BINUS students and faculty.
During the ceremony, Vice Rector of Research & Technology Transfer, Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., M.Si., delivered a speech emphasizing the pivotal role of research and innovation in shaping the future.
