On July 07, 2026, the Department of Research and Technology Transfer (RTT) at BINUS University, in collaboration with Binus Corporate Learning and Development (BCLND)  successfully organized an online workshop entitled “Research as a Career Launchpad: Memandu Mahasiswa Membangun Portofolio Profesional Lewat Jalur Riset” This event featured insightful coaching sessions delivered by distinguished speaker, notably Brilly Andro Makalew, S.Kom., M.T.I., Research and Empowerment Digital Specialist, and Hilda Farida, S.P., M.Sc., Research Enrichment Section Head at Research and Technology Transfer, BINUS University.

The workshop was designed to equip participants with the ability to articulate the strategic value of research in supporting students’ academic and professional career development. Participants were guided in designing competency-based research portfolios, identifying adaptive research topics aligned with industry trends and career aspirations, and utilizing credible research resources and institutional support to strengthen student research projects. Furthermore, the session enabled participants to develop strategies for establishing external research internship partnerships and aligning faculty research roadmaps with students’ research projects to foster sustainable collaboration and increase research outputs, including publications in Scopus-indexed journals.
