On October 22, 2026, the Department of Research and Technology Transfer (RTT) at BINUS University successfully organized an onsite workshop entitled “Data Paper Scopus: From Dataset to Publication Vol. 4.” The workshop featured Hendryadi, S.E., M.M., Associate Editor of Frontiers in Psychology with a Scopus H-index of 13, reviewer and author for international journals, and Head of Publication and Publishing at STIE Indonesia and Imperium Research Institute.

The workshop aimed to equip participants with practical knowledge and strategies for transforming research datasets into publishable scientific articles. The session covered the fundamentals and structure of data papers, the importance of applying FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles, and effective dataset management through data cleaning, metadata preparation, and repository selection. Participants also gained insights into identifying suitable Scopus-indexed journals, developing data paper manuscripts, and navigating the submission process. Through practical examples and best practices shared by the speaker, the workshop emphasized the importance of ensuring data quality, transparency, accessibility, and reusability to strengthen research visibility and generate greater academic impact.
