Abstract
Digital transformation through social media is considered the dominant platform to ensure business success and continuity, especially in the case of small and medium-sized companies. This offers many benefits to companies in terms of improving customer relationships, increasing profits, reducing costs and allowing flexibility. During the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, social media has become essential for businesses. The focus has shifted to carrying out daily business activities remotely. Despite its importance, this study aims to explore the factors that influence the implementation of social media in SMEs in Indonesia. The Technology, Environment and Technology Organization and Acceptance Model will be used. These theories provide useful insights and explanations regarding the internal and external contexts of social media adoption. Data will be collected from SMEs in Indonesia.
