Abstract
The objectives of this research are to find out key elements of multicultural literature to be covered in learning process in Indonesia, to identify key priorities and barriers for implementation of multicultural literature in English Department in Indonesia, to gain consensus on key multicultural literary issues, including cultural traumas, to be addressed in learning process, and to formulate a multicultural literature learning model for English Department students in Indonesia (and possibilities of application in Taiwan). The research will be conducted through questionnaire, interview and focus group discussion with 20-30 student participants and 1-3 experts in multicultural literature in Indonesia and Taiwan.
