Abstract
Some decades ago entrepreneurship is not an interesting options for youth in Indonesia, especially those with university degree, Indonesian culture still has a very colonial view that employment status or being an employee is more honourable than being an entrepreneur, but that mindset is changing nowadays especially with the development of technology, as people in Indonesia are more exposed with technology and overwhelmed information, they learn that becoming an entrepreneur open a great opportunity to achieve their dreams. Millennials grew up in an electronics-filled and increasingly online and socially-networked world. As the most ethnically diverse generation, Millennials have come to an age where technology change rapidly, globalization happen and economic disruption. Thats a background on how they have different set of behaviors than their parents. They tend to be confident, tolerant, follow their dreams and special. This research main goal is to find out factors that encourage youth entrepreneurs, it is important to know it, so that it can be used in educational, government and family level. To encourage entrepreneurs within each sectors and so that it can decrease the numbers of unemployment in Indonesia. This research will use factors analysis methods to figure out what factors that encourage the entrepreneurs to become an entrepreneurs. This research is done by giving questionaires and also interview to get a deeper insights. This research will limit the research area only at Jakarta.
