Abstract
Industry 4.0 has driven the industry to automate the business operations with requires skills and advance digital technology. It can be utilized to turn waste in industry which has high risk to financial return. In a circular economy, products and materials are less environmentally damaging due to their increased durability, reusability, repairability, recyclability and recyclability. Instead of being consumed quickly and turning into waste and pollution, products and materials circulate in economic activity for a longer period of time. This study aims to develop a theoretical circular economy model that examines the relationship of circular supply chain 4.0 with product-service system and intelligent logistics cost control. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The study results show that there is no positive effect of circular product, managerial capability and supply chain integration on intelligent logistics. But there were positive effect between circular supplier and intelligent logistics which can help companies to improve their business competitiveness in the industry by implementing a circular supply chain business model with product-service systems (PSS). The study recommends that companies implementing a circular supply chain business model of Product-Service Systems (PSS) should focus on intelligent logistics in which the desired cost control can be well achieved. In addition, intelligent logistics can also facilitate circular supply chains
