This research intends to find the content of news in digital platform (Instagram) on Tirto.id. As the nature of reading news has swift from traditional media to digital, media organizations need to present their news in accordance to the new technology. Instagram is one of the platforms that chosen by most media publisher to present the content. Moreover, media publisher can benefit Instagram nature of posting photos, videos, and user interactivity to present news in an alternative way and to attract wider audience. Therefore, this research aims to find out how Tirto.ids delivers their content on their Instagram account. The research will also try to analyze the content of the article on Instagram compared to those in other platform. This research will use a qualitative approach through a content analysis on Tirto.id Instagram account. It will analyze their content of article and their method of news presenting. Secondary data will be gathered using Interview method with the Editor-in-Chief of Tirto.
