Abstract
This study aims to construct adaptations to sources of technological disruption and business model ecosystems in the management or management of FM radio broadcasting in Indonesia and Malaysiain the era of disruption and the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The research has an interpretive approach,aconstructive paradigm and a qualitative descriptive method. The theory used as a basis in the analysis is technological determinism from Marshall McLuhan which is supported by the concept of sources of technological disruption and business model ecosystems. The research object is FM radio in Indonesia (Jakarta and Surabaya) and Malaysia. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing key informants and non-participating observasion in the FM radio broadcast room which was the object of research. The datavalidation technique uses the model developed by Cresswell, regarding the six stages of the datavalidation technique. Testing the validity of the data was carried out by member checking and rich and concise descriptions, while testing the reliability of the data was carried out by sharing analysis, checking the results of the transcription and ensuring that there were no floating definitions or meanings. This research has an important urgency for the FM radio broadcasting industry to be able to survive and develop amidst technological disruption, industrial revolution 4.0 and the development of business model ecosystems.
