Abstract
In the post-9/11 world, the issue of self-representation is a concern commonly found in Muslim communities, especially amongst the youth and the moderates. Indonesian Muslims, as residents of the most populous Muslim country in the world, are also part of those reacting towards the global discourse of terrorism that is politically embedded into their religious identity.
