Rice is a primary and strategic commodity to fulfil community demand in east Indonesia. Rice supply chain in east Indonesia face challenge to fulfill demand with limited resources. The objective of the research is to analyse rice supply chain in eastern Indonesia, assess supply chain performance and develop monitoring system for rice supply chain in eastern Indonesia. A supply chain operation reference (SCOR) v.14 combined with sustainability approach wereproposed to evaluate rice supply chain. A fuzzyAHP was proposed to manage experts judgement to assess the priority of business process and metrics in rice supply chain. System development life cycle approach was explored to develop a digital monitoring system to perform supply chain performance measurement and recommendation for competitive advantages. This research is expected to provide recommendation in managing rice supply chain performance in achieving food security in eastern Indonesia
