As the industry keeps evolving from industry 1.0 to the current era of industry 4.0, the evolution to society 5.0 is unavoidable and it is required higher human competency than before as they are expecting the graduates are ready-to-work products, instead of they must conduct training the fresh graduate from the bottom. Vocational education is a form of education that focuses on mastering skills to work and the main purpose of vocational school is they educate and prepare the students according to their competencies and serve as a competent person in business and industry global competition. The gap between the fresh graduate laborers in the industry is still there and one of the ways to reduce the gap is to improve or modify the vocational education. But unfortunately, the current situation of Indonesias vocational education has not met the industry minimum qualification, thus, it is almost impossible for vocational graduates will be employed after they graduated. Due to this condition, education in vocational schools needs to be changed or modified in terms of teaching and learning strategy
