Abstract
Rigorous development of China has been an attractive issue discussed by many scholars and researchers. They find the fact that Chinese state capitalismhas two basic characteristics; China is open for free market that allows entrepreneurship, privitazation, liberalization, and competition. At the same time, China retains the decisive role of the state in financialand politicalcontroland in promoting state-owned enterprises (SOEs) at the expense of free competition and private entrepreneurship. Due to this process, China has successfully become the largest and strongest economic domination in the world. On the other hands, Southeast Asian region as neighboruing territories of China is very resourceful region, rich with natural resources, vast territoriesand huge numbers of population thatcan attract theinternational businessand industry.Asaresult, China has no hestitateto engageand invest in various publicinfrastructurein theregion. Association of SoutheastAsianNations (ASEAN)and its members states haveshifted their approaches to China fromsuspicious to accommodative attittudes. This research aims to evaluate the influence of Chiness states capitalismin economic development in SoutheastAsia. This researchwillexamine the influence of Chinese model on economic arrangement ofASEAN members states.
