Title

Pengolahan limbah organik menggunakan black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) untuk produksi biodiePsel dan pakan hewan sebagai solusi berkelanjutan waste-food-energy (WFE) nexus

Abstract
In this research, an emerging research of the utilization of black soldier fly (BSF, Hermetia illucens) larvae for the preparation of biodiesel (as well as organic waste treatment), and also the generation of alternative feed for improved food production, has been mapped bibliometrically from Scopus database. BSF becomes a promising biological agent for tackling the waste-food-energy (WFE) nexus which is a problematic vicious cycle that may threaten earths sustainability, hence its emergence. With its short life cycle, ability to consume organic waste equal to its own weight daily, and convert it to larvae with high protein and lipid content, then BSF larvae is a perfect choice for one-step solution of WFE nexus. To further perfect the research of BSF for WFE nexus, this bibliometric analysis, as well as citation evolution profile, are carried out with the objectives to characterize the progress of publication in the recent ten years (2011-2022) in order to determine future research direction in this field, also to identify top publications for wider reach to the public and to recognize productive authors and leading countries for visualizing opportunities for future collaborations.
