Abstract
During this pandemic, the obstacles faced by SME in the area of interiors, furniture and interior accessories are means that can be used together as a center of information, promotion and marketing. Moreover, it has to be effective, flexible and multifunctional. It also can support business while still paying attention to heath protocols and business sustainability in the future. This pandemic has had a huge impact on SME because generally the income has decrease dramatically. Therefore, a strategic step is needed to support SME by taking advantage of market potential in the industrial era 4.0. The application of health protocols is a new thing for SME. Therefor it needs to educate SME about this issue so they can develop new product that can be alternative solution that meet the needs of the community. This research aims to design the interior of a facility that is flexible and can be used together by SME to get education and develop knowledge about design as well as promoting and marketing products. This research will use container waste that is quite abundant as a location for placing designs with the Biophilic design approach. Thus, the products that have been produced by SME can have direct involvement with nature, environment, and humans as part of product added value. The methodology used is literature review, online surveys, case studies, conducting questionnaires, analyzing data, developing designs, making prototypes, evaluating, and producing final design. The case study in this research is the application. Thus, it is hoped that the design result can contribute to improve the quality of SME design and it can be a competitive advantage for SME.
