Abstract
The current technological development is very rapid in the era of globalization and has provided many benefits in progress in various economic aspects, especially in SMEs. SMEs play a very important role for the Indonesian state because they create large amounts of employment with less capital costs compared to large industries, help the Indonesian state to form industries in remote areas, encourage a more equitable economy, increase foreign exchange, cutting regional inequalities, and advancing the country's fiscal. The objectives of this study is to know the development strategies to increase SME competitiveness in Indonesia during covid-19 pandemic.The sample of the research is SMEs working in Art and Crafts, Fashion, and Food and Beverages industry. In analyzing the data, authors used descriptive analysis using strategic and marketing analysis. This research will contribute to help the actors of SMEs to get a better understanding related to development strategies during covid-19 era.
