Students, especially the special need ones, find it difficult to adjust their learning behaviours with a new mode of teaching and uncertain academic-related information distribution. Despite the presence of Learning Management System (LMS), students with cognitive impairment certainly requires special treatment due to their distinct information literacy. Therefore, this study is done to examine undergraduate students with cognitive impairment in exercising digital literacy, maintaining communication, and processing information in a learning context. Using a qualitative approach, the study employs one-on-one interview and observation involving a group of students in selected universities in Indonesia and Malaysia. The results of the study are expected to contribute to creating a better teaching and learning system for educators and curriculum developers.
