Abstract
The general assembly of the United Nations in September 2015 set out an agenda aimed at making the world a be6er place. The agenda is given the name Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which has a target to achieve a be6er and more sustainable world future by 2030. These SDGs are request from the United Nations to all countries to take action to end poverty, protect the environment, eligibility for education and so on in this earth. This program also ensures that everyone has peace and prosperity. In achieving the goals of SDGs, it requires support from Science, Technology and Innovation, especially in goals related to human welfare. In 2020, the Japanese state revised the Constitution which discussed science and technology and renamed it the Constitution on Science, technology dan innovation. With the enthusiasm to make changes to the social order, it is hoped that through this UUD many innovations will emerge in the social humanities field so that it can equip the community with comprehensive knowledge. This research is a follow-up research which is a joint research between BINUS University and Wakayama University Japan. Previous research looked at makers related to changes and the impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic on several aspects contained in the SDGs, namely aspects in the fields of gender, education, health and the environment in both Indonesia and Japan. This follow-up research focuses on post-pandemic life, where people are no strangers to the way of life in the new-normal erathat unilizes technology. The purpose of this research is to find the role of technology in the implementation of the SDGs in the social conditions of Indonesian-Japanese society. This research was conducted using several methods including digital humanities methods such as network analysis, text analysis, mapping, GIS, content management system. This method can be strengthened by qualitative and quantitative approaches either through interviews or by distributing questionnaires online with Indonesian and Japanese people. Of the 17 aspects of SDGs, the object of this research is focused on aspects of gender, education, (online, self-learning, etc.) in Higher Education, environment. Initial hypothesis for further research, this is technology and innovation have a major role not only in implementation but also in monitoring SDGs in Japanese-Indonesian society according to the recommendations from the mapping result obtained.
