Abstract
The reconstruction of 3D object has been extremely investigated. Therefore, we could find some amount of literature review in scientific platform. A 3D object reconstruction is used in many fields such as medical, marine, architechture. In medical field, a reconstruction of CTSCAN data could be a good approach to investigate the disease inside the organs compared to inverstigation based on 2D. In marine field, a reconstruction of the deep layer and some particles in the sea become a viral topic as well. However, a lot of experiments have to be done in order to overcome some variables that we can find in the sea such as the wave, and low light acquisition. In architechture field, a reconstruction of historical field has attracted many researcher to work on this field. A distinction of historical fields that affected by the weather and unpredicted variable leads to this research. Eventhough a lot of researches had been done in 3D reconstruction, there are still spaces that can be improved. A depth map plays an important role in order to do 3D reconstruction. However, the noice produced in depth map still become problem. Therefore, in this work introduced a fusion method to acquire depth map using combination of kinect camera and stereo camera. We would like to investigate how the depth map works if fusion method is apllied and to compare the result of each scenario using Kinect camera only and stereo camera only. Apart from that, there are many commercial software and tools that can be used to do 3D reconstruction, however the price is still expensive.
