Abstract
Maintaining the success of service robot implementation at hotels depends on eliminating fear and negative perceptions. However, first, it isessential to understand what people think and feelabout robotsand robotemployment in the hospitality industry. Therefore, this study aims to determinethe opinions oflower-level personnelworking at various departments of 5- star lodging establishments located in Indonesiaregarding servicerobotsand theidea ofworkingwith them. In light ofthese potentialworkplace changes, the primary objectives of this research are as follows: to develop a measurement that able to capture STARAawareness, to examine STARAawareness and investigate whether hotelemployees in Indonesia perceive it as a threat to their job/career, and to evaluate the potential impact of STARA on a variety of job outcomes for current hotelemployees in Indonesia. It is essential to determine hotelemployees' perceptions of robots and robot employments in the hospitality industry in Indonesia because the success of the robotic applications in hotels depends on employees' acceptance.
