Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the economic decline in Indonesia and even the whole world, including the hotel and tourism industry. The Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected, tourist visits have dropped dramatically, especially in Pangkalpinang, so hotel management must terminate employment and lay off employees. During this pandemic, the hotel company's strategy must always be updated, especially considering changes in consumer tastes or demands due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pangkalpinang City as one of the areas that rely on tourism for its own local revenue has experienced a very significant decline. Hotels as one of the main supporters of tourism cannot be separated from the impact of COVID19 and many hotels have closed or gone bankrupt. Fox Harris Hotel Pangkalpinang is one of the hotels affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, where hotel revenues have decreased drastically from before the emergence of Covid-19. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the decision to stay at a hotel in the new normal period. This study took a sample of 100 respondents using purposive sampling as a sampling technique. The questionnaire was distributed in the form of a Google Form.
