Abstract
Indonesia is a country that has become a place of cultural acculturation as it was once located in a strategic area of the international maritime trading route. Acculturation still leaves its mark on various cultural activities which are still carried out and preserved by the community. One of them is traditional cultural event Gerebeg Sudiro in the city of Solo in Central Java The research proposed in this proposal is to examine how the relationship between the nonMoslem Chinese community and Javanese Moslem community in the city of Solo, Central Java, which is represented in the Gerebeg Solo cultural event. The data to be collected is data in the form of literacy data and visual data. This data will then be used to help analyze how the Grebeg Sudiro tradition is intertwined with efforts to maintain a sense of togetherness and tolerance among the multicultural residents of the city of Solo. With a long-term objective and the expected result is to preserve culture and increase relations of tolerance among Indonesians within the framework of pluralism The research method is carried out by examining literature records of the daily life behavior of Solo residents who are shrouded in the spirit of diversity among them
