Abstract
The shift into the fourth industrial revolution makes it more crucial for companies to manage their knowledge (intellectual capital IC), so that they can thrive and be sustainable in the long run. This applies as well on a broader scale, in the context of a country. The Indonesian government has acknowledged the sense of IC urgency and some initiatives have been taken to accommodate the transition to a knowledge-based economy. For companies, the key challenge to managing their IC is the difficulty in identifying and measuring it, despite the existence of several alternative methods of IC measurement
