Academic Writing Workshop at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah: Empowering Lecturers to Advance Knowledge

On August 12, 2024, the Faculty of Psychology at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta organized an Academic Writing Workshop, with Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si., Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University, as the keynote speaker. The workshop, held at the faculty premises, focused on equipping participants with the skills necessary for producing high-quality academic writing. Prof. Abraham shared insights on how to effectively contribute to the academic community through publications in journals, books, and academic conferences.

The event was formally opened by Dr. Yunita Faela Nisa, M.Psi., Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, along with her team. In her speech, Dr. Yunita highlighted the importance of academic writing not only as a method for disseminating research findings but also as a platform for advancing the scientific community. She emphasized how academic writing allows lecturers to contribute significantly to knowledge development while setting an example for students.
