Enhancing Research Collaboration: BSKAP and BINUS University Lead Nationwide Efforts

On August 3, 2024, a pivotal meeting was convened between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s Agency for Standards, Curriculum, and Educational Assessment (BSKAP) and several prominent academic figures. The primary agenda of the meeting focused on the Research Registry, an initiative aimed at enhancing collaborative research efforts across Indonesia. This gathering brought together key stakeholders committed to advancing educational standards and research quality in the country.

The meeting featured distinguished participants, including Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si., Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University, who played a crucial role in representing the university’s research interests. Anindito Aditomo, Ph.D., head of BSKAP, led the discussions, emphasizing the importance of standardized research protocols and assessment frameworks. Other notable attendees included Dr. Ide Bagus Siaputra from Universitas Surabaya, a partner of BINUS University in the Nationwide University Network in Indonesia (NUNI), who contributed valuable insights on regional research collaborations.

Furthermore, Rahmat Hidayat, M.Psi., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM) and a NUNI partner, alongside Dr. Ni Made Swasti Wulanyani, S.Psi. M.Erg., and Made Diah Lestari, M.Psi. from Universitas Udayana, also NUNI partners, provided their perspectives on integrating research efforts within the network. Their collective input underscored the significance of a unified approach to research and curriculum development, fostering a more cohesive and innovative academic environment across Indonesia’s higher education institutions.
