Expo Skripsi Artikel Ilmiah at BINUS University Showcases Student Research Excellence

On July 31, 2024, BINUS University Anggrek Campus hosted the Expo Skripsi Artikel Ilmiah, an event dedicated to showcasing the academic achievements of undergraduate students who opted to graduate through the writing of scientific articles. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Nelly, M.M., the Rector of BINUS University, who also delivered the inaugural speech. The opening speech was given by Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si., Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University, highlighting the importance of research and publication in higher education.

The event was graced by several important invitees, including Dr. Nurlina, M.M., Senior Manager of the Research Office, as well as deans and heads of study programs from various faculties. Attendees included BINUS University students, faculty members, thesis supervisors, and the students’ parents, creating a supportive atmosphere for the young researchers. This expo provided a platform for students to present their research articles that have been published in internationally indexed journals and conferences, emphasizing the university’s commitment to high academic standards and global recognition.

The Scientific Article Thesis Program aims to introduce an alternative graduation pathway for undergraduate students at BINUS University by engaging them in research and international publication. This initiative aligns with the directives from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, which advocate for the flexibility of graduate competency standards.
