Strengthening Academic and Research Collaboration: Universitas Terbuka Visits BINUS University
On a recent visit, delegates from Universitas Terbuka were warmly received by BINUS University. Representing BINUS University were Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si., Vice Rector for Research and Technology Transfer, Johan, S.Kom., M.M., CDMS, Vice Rector for Global Employability & Entrepreneurship, and Dr. Ratna Sari, S.Kom., M.MSI., Manager of BINUS Career Center (BCC). The delegation from Universitas Terbuka included Prof. Dr. Paken Pandiangan, S.Si., M.Si., Vice Rector for Information Systems and Student Affairs, Dr. Etty Puji Lestari, S.E., M.Si., Head of the Scientific Research Center at the Institute for Research and Community Service, Dr. Albert Gamot Malau, S.Si., M.Si., Head of Tracer Study LPPM, Erika Pradana Putri, S.T., M.Sc., Expert Staff for Student Affairs, and Dr. Lidwina Sri Ardiasih, S.Pd., M.Ed., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP).
The meeting commenced with a welcome speech from Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si., representing BINUS University, followed by a speech from Prof. Dr. Paken Pandiangan, S.Si., M.Si., representing Universitas Terbuka. Both parties expressed enthusiasm for the potential collaboration and the exchange of knowledge between the two institutions. This visit marks a significant step towards strengthening the academic and research ties, ensuring both universities benefit from shared experiences and insights.
During the visit, discussions were held on managing coursework, the absorption of BINUS University graduates into the job market, and other pertinent issues.
