Engaging Workshop on Book Chapter Writing at BINUS University
On July 18, 2024, BINUS University Anggrek Campus hosted a workshop titled “Ngobrol Asyik Santai (NgobrAS) Book Chapter Scopus.” The event featured Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si., Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University, as the main speaker. Dr. Joice Yulinda Luke, S.Pd., M.Hum, the International Book & Conference Section Head, served as the moderator. The workshop was attended by faculty members from BINUS University, aiming to deepen their understanding of various aspects of book chapter publication.
The primary objectives of the workshop were to elucidate the concept and characteristics of a book chapter, detail its structure and components, and guide participants through the process of writing one. Prof. Dr. Abraham provided comprehensive insights into each of these areas, ensuring that attendees could grasp the fundamentals of book chapter composition. The session also covered the specific techniques and writing styles pertinent to creating high-quality, scholarly book chapters suitable for publication in Scopus-indexed works.
