Empowering Future Leaders: Insights from BINUSIAN Leadership Sharing Workshop

On May 17, 2024, BINUS University hosted the BINUSIAN Leadership Sharing workshop, a significant event aimed at nurturing future leaders within the institution. The workshop featured prominent speakers from the BINUS organization, including Prof. Firdaus Alamsjah, Ph.D., Director of BINUS CREATES, and Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si., Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer. These esteemed leaders were invited to impart their extensive leadership experience and insights to the participants of the Binus Talent Management Development Program (BTM-DP).

As candidates for the Binus Talent Squad (BTS), participants are expected to embody and exemplify the leadership qualities that are highly valued at BINUS. The presence of Prof. Firdaus and Prof. Juneman provided an invaluable opportunity for these future leaders to learn from their real-life experiences and leadership styles. The dialogue session allowed BTS, candidates to understand how these current BINUSIAN leaders think, decide, drive initiatives, and act in their professional roles, thereby setting a benchmark for them to aspire to.

The interactive format of the session, designed as a dialogue between the speakers, the moderator, and the participants, ensured a dynamic and engaging learning environment. This structure not only facilitated a rich exchange of ideas but also encouraged active participation and critical thinking among the BTS candidates. By drawing on the wisdom and practical insights shared by Prof. Firdaus and Prof. Juneman, the future leaders of BINUS are better equipped to develop their own leadership capabilities and serve as exemplary role models for other BINUSIANS.
