BINUS University Entrepreneurship Program Achieves “Excellent” Accreditation Status
On March 4-5, 2024, an important field assessment for the Entrepreneurship Program at BINUS University Malang campus was conducted by LAMEMBA (Independent Accreditation Agency for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting). This significant event was attended by senior officials from BINUS University, including Dr. Nelly, M.M., the Rector, who was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si., the Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer. Other key participants included Dr. Robertus Tang Herman, M.M., the Director of BINUS@Malang campus, and Dr. Ir. Hardijanto Saroso, M.MT., M.M., the Dean of BINUS Business School and Brilly Andro Makalew, S.Kom., M.T.I., Research and Empowerment Digital Specialist. Together, they supported the program’s faculty and leadership throughout the assessment process, showcasing the program’s capabilities and achievements.

The field assessment was officially opened by Dr. Nelly and concluded by Prof. Juneman on the second day, with assessors Dr. Rini Astini, M.M., and Dr. Agustinus Miranda Wijaya, S.E., S.H., M.M., M.Kn., CPM., conducting the evaluations. These assessors, both distinguished in their fields, rigorously evaluated the program against high standards to determine its compliance and excellence in curriculum, faculty, and student outcomes. The process was aimed at ensuring the highest educational standards, which are critical for maintaining the reputation and effectiveness of the program.
In May 2024, the results of this meticulous assessment were announced, with the Entrepreneurship Program successfully earning an “Excellent” accreditation status. This outcome not only reflected the quality and dedication inherent in the program but also highlighted the collaborative efforts of the university’s leadership and faculty in enhancing academic standards. The accreditation by LAMEMBA, an agency initiated by notable Indonesian academic and professional bodies such as ISEI, IAI, and AFEBI, underscores the program’s commitment to excellence in the fields of Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting.
