Artificial Intelligence in the Tangerang Development Innovation Collaboration Event

On November 23, 2023, Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si. took part as a speaker at the “Tangerang Collaboration for Innovative Development” seminar. The event aimed to elevate the quality of regional innovation in support of sustainable development.

Prof. Abraham delved into Artificial Intelligence and its Educational Direction at the Ballroom Hotel Novotel Tangerang City Superblock, located at Jl. Jend Sudirman No 1, in the city of Tangerang. He shed light on the development and utilization of Artificial Intelligence in the governmental sector and discussed how BINUS University educates its human resources to become ethical and proficient users and developers of AI, fostering strong partnerships with both the Government and Private Sectors.

The seminar was part of a two-day series of events, including the Regional Innovation Awards Ceremony, Collaboration for Development Awards, the signing of a Smart City Memorandum of Understanding, Regional Innovation Workshops, and an Innovation Exhibition, featuring esteemed innovation practitioners.

Prof. Abraham’s involvement as a speaker is set to be followed by a Memorandum of Understanding between BINUS University and the Tangerang City Government, building upon the discussions he had during the seminar with Decky Priambodo, Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Tangerang City. It’s worth noting that the Rector of BINUS University serves as an Advisor in the Tangerang City Smart City Council, as per the Mayor’s Decision No. 800/Kep. 476-Kominfo/2021.
