BINUS University 2025 – 2029 Research Strategic Planning
On the 6th of July 2023, Binus University organized a significant Consignment event to discuss and fomulate BINUS University 2025 – 2029 Research Strategic Planning document. The event aimed to bring together Binus Research Coordinators, Research Interest Group Leader, Head of Research Centers, and key stakeholders to discuss and strategize the university’s research direction for the upcoming years. The event was organized by the Research and Technology Transfer Office (RTTO) The opening speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D., the Vice Rector for Research and Technology Transfer.
The event commenced with an engaging opening speech by Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D., who expressed his gratitude to all the participants for their presence. He emphasized the importance of research in academic institutions and its impact on the university’s reputation and contribution to society. Prof. Tirta highlighted Binus University’s commitment to fostering a research culture and encouraged the faculty members to actively engage in research activities.
The event continued with breakout sessions, where participants were divided into groups to delve deeper into specific research areas for each research theme in the Research Strategic Planning. The breakout sessions facilitated in-depth discussions and brainstorming on research objectives, potential collaborations, and implementation strategies. Each group appointed a representative to present their findings and recommendations to the larger audience during the closing session.
The event is a major milestone specifically in determining the direction of research in BINUS University in the effort to foster and empower the society through high impact research.
