Research 101
Organized by the Research and Technology Transfer Office (RTTO) and BINUS Corporate Learning and Development (BCLND), the online workshop titled “Research 101” took place on 30th May 2023. The workshop aimed to shed light on the profound connection between research, teaching, community development, and personal growth. It served as a platform for participants to gain valuable insights into the world of research and its significance in fostering and empowering society.

Dr. Noerlina N, S.Kom., M.M., CDMS, Senior Manager of Research and Technology Transfer Office (RTTO), a renowned expert in research and technology transfer, was the distinguished speaker for the event. Dr. Noerlina’s vast experience and expertise in the field set the stage for an informative and engaging session. She began by discussing the research strategy, grant schemes and other RTTO’s services in research development for Binus Faculty Members and Binus Students.
The workshop stressed the significance of research in community development. Dr. Noerlina highlighted how research outcomes can address societal challenges and foster positive change. She presented several examples of successful research projects that had a direct impact on communities, demonstrating the transformative power of research in addressing real-world issues. Throughout the workshop, participants were actively involved through interactive sessions, where they had the opportunity to ask questions and share their insights. The engaging discussions allowed for the exchange of ideas and the exploration of diverse perspectives.
