Visiting Professor at Binus Alam Sutera and Anggrek Campus

Research and Technology Transfer BINUS University organized three workshops in three days on 28, 29, 30 November 2022 in BINUS Alam Sutera and Anggrek Campus. These three seminars invited a visiting professor from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia as a speaker and an expert for one on one discussion with BINUS Faculty Members. It was held at around 10:00 to 17:00 for each day of the workshops. 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nathakumar Loganathan from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia was invited as the speaker and coach for these workshops to share his knowledge and experience to Binus Faculty Members. Prof. Dr. Tirta N, Mursitama, Ph.D., VR RTT Bina Nusantara University delivered his opening speech for this workshop. The first workshop was moderated by Research Promotion and Partnership Section Head, Ria Damayanti, S.Sos., the second workshop was moderated by Research & Community Development Section Head BINUS Malang Yudhistya Ayu Kusumawati, S.Sn., M.Ds., and the third workshop was moderated by International Publication Section Head, Aninda Rahmasari, S.Sos., M.Litt. 

The first workshop titled “Publishing in Reputable International Journal” was organized on 28 November 2022 at BINUS Alam Sutera Campus. It encouraged the participants on publishing their article on reputable international journal by exposing the centred points and characteristics of certain journal publishers. The second workshop titled “Discussion Publication for Professor Candidate” was organized on 29 November 2022 at BINUS Anggrek Campus. It encouraged the professor candidates to publish their article on reputable journal to minimize the gap to their professorship. The third workshop titled “How to Be a Prominent Young Researcher and Journal Author?” was organized on 30 November 2022 at BINUS Anggrek Campus. It encouraged the young BINUS Faculty Members to be a prominent young researchers in pursuing their lecturing career.  

The participants of the workshop found the workshop helpful through the question-and-answer session. It is expected that the visiting professor event would expand the eagerness of Binus Faculty Members in making Q1 publication.
