The First Day of the 4th ICOBAR 2022

The first day of the 4th International Conference on Biospheric Harmony Advanced Research (ICOBAR) 2022 was being held on June 22, 2022 in Jakarta via Zoom. Vice Rector Research and Technology Transfer (RTT) Binus University, Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D. opened the Opening Ceremony and sent his sincerest welcome to the keynote speakers and participants. Rector Bina Nusantara University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo, M.M., also greeted the keynote speakers and participants through his warmest video message. Elioenai Sitepu, Ph.D, the chairperson of ICOBAR also sent his warmest greeting to keynote speakers and participants.

ICOBAR presented Arief S Budiman, Ph.D from Oregon Institute of Technology, USA as the first keynote speaker and Prof. Edward Buckingham from Monash University, Australia as the second keynote speaker. Dr. Muhammad Asrol, S.T.P., M.Si. and Dr. R.A. Aryanti Wardaya Puspokusumo, B.Sc, M.B.M, CPLM moderated the first and second keynote speaking. The participant showed their eagerness in the topics of keynote speaking through their questions and answers on the keynote speaking.

ICOBAR also presented the Industry Forum Parallel Session to meet the academia to industrial world in exchanging views and experiences on a particular issue. Dr. Rinda Hedwig, M.T. as Research Interest Group Leader on Photonic and Computer Simulation delivered her keynote speaking before Risman Adnan Mattotorang, Ph.D. as CTO of Samsung Riset Indonesia (SRIN). This Industry Forum Parallel Session was moderated by Brilly Andro Makalew, M.T.I.

The conference is expected to bridge the needs of academia and industrial world in fostering and empowering the community.
