Urgensi Pengembangan Ilmu Sosial dan kebijakan Publik: Peran Pusat Riset di Perguruan Tinggi

Social science and public policy have always been connected. In an ideal world, understanding the mechanisms behind good or even bad social processes would directly inform the creation of policies that promote social benefits and reduce consequences. On March 4, 2022, Research and Technology Transfer Binus University invited Prof. Jeffrey A. Winters, Ph.D. to share his knowledge on social science and public policy in front of Binus Faculty Members in a series of We For Better World of Research and Innovation (WFW) events with discussion titled Urgensi Pengembangan Ilmu Sosial dan kebijakan Publik: Peran Pusat Riset di Perguruan Tinggi.

Vice Rector Research and Technology Transfer Binus University, Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D. moderated the event and directly created a lively questions and answers between Prof. Winters and the participants. The participants were really amazed with Prof. Winters explanation on their questions.

The event would hopefully broaden up the horizon of Binus Faculty Members in developing social science and public policy in the future.
