Strengthening Research Collaboration Through Joint Benchmarking

Kegiatan Studi Banding Gabungan telah dilaksanakan pada 24 September 2025 di BINUS @Alam Sutera, dengan menghadirkan Universitas Matana, Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma, Universitas Sangga Buana, Universitas Siber Indonesia, dan STIKes Mitra Keluarga. Diskusi berlangsung hangat, membahas isu strategis seperti peningkatan publikasi dan indeksasi SINTA, optimalisasi hibah riset, pemanfaatan database ilmiah, perbaikan manajemen PKM, serta penguatan peran reviewer dan peluang kolaborasi riset. Pertemuan ini membuka potensi kerja sama lebih luas melalui joint research, co-hosting jurnal, dan pengembangan jejaring riset antarperguruan tinggi.

The Joint Benchmarking Visit was held on September 24, 2025 at BINUS @Alam Sutera, bringing together representatives from several partner universities: Universitas Matana, Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma, Universitas Sangga Buana, Universitas Siber Indonesia and STIKes Mitra Keluarga. The session facilitated an in-depth academic exchange focusing on strategies to strengthen research performance, publication quality and inter-university collaboration in alignment with the demands of an innovative higher-education ecosystem.

Throughout the discussion, participants examined a series of institutional challenges and opportunities, including improving SINTA indexation, enhancing reviewer capacity, optimizing internal research grants, managing community-engagement programs and standardizing access to scientific databases such as Scopus and Turnitin. Representatives from each institution also highlighted specific concerns—from supporting emerging young professors and addressing declining research output, to accelerating journal upgrades and improving researchers’ readiness for national and international grant schemes. This benchmarking initiative served as a concrete step toward strengthening the national research network, fostering joint research pathways and expanding scholarly collaboration for greater academic impact.
