Collaborating for Research Commercialization

Pada 30 September 2025, BINUS University yang diwakili oleh Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., M.Si. (Vice Rector – Research & Technology Transfer) dan Hendy Risdianto Wijaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D (Technology Transfer Senior Specialist) melakukan kunjungan ke Direktorat Hilirisasi dan Kemitraan Kemdiktisaintek. Pertemuan yang juga dihadiri oleh Prof. Yos Sunitiyoso, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D (ITB), Hendra Sumiarsa, M.M., CMA. (Dewan Pengawas Indonesia AI Society Singapore – IAIS) dan perwakilan dari Kemdiktisaintek, membahas berbagai inisiatif BINUS dalam bidang hilirisasi hasil riset dan komersialisasi sejak tahun 2024. Dalam kesempatan ini, BINUS mempresentasikan capaian dan program yang telah dijalankan, serta membuka peluang kolaborasi dengan Kemdiktisaintek untuk memperkuat ekosistem hilirisasi riset nasional.

On September 30th, 2025, BINUS University, represented by Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., M.Si. (Vice Rector – Research & Technology Transfer) and Hendy Risdianto Wijaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D (Technology Transfer Senior Specialist) visited the Directorate of Research Commercialization and Partnerships of Kemdiktisaintek. The meeting, also attended by Prof. Yos Sunitiyoso, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D (ITB), Hendra Sumiarsa, M.M., CMA. (Board of Supervisors of Indonesia AI Society Singapore – IAIS) and representatives from the Ministry, highlighted BINUS University’s ongoing initiatives in research downstreaming and commercialization since 2024.

During the session, BINUS presented its achievements and programs that support the transition of research outputs toward market-ready innovations, including applied research, commercialization training, proposal mentoring and patent facilitation. This visit also served as an opportunity to strengthen collaborative efforts with Kemdiktisaintek in building a more integrated national research commercialization ecosystem.
