Editorial Leadership Transition at Jurnal Lingua Cultura: Welcoming Dr. Irfan Rifai.

Jurnal Lingua Cultura BINUS University mengalami pergantian kepemimpinan setelah Dr. Dra. Ienneke Indra Dewi, S.Th., M.Hum. menyelesaikan masa jabatan sebagai Pemimpin Redaksi (2013–2025). Posisi tersebut kini diemban oleh Irfan Rifai, S.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D., yang ditunjuk oleh Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., Wakil Rektor Bidang Riset dan Alih Teknologi, per Juni 2025. Dr. Irfan diharapkan membawa visi baru untuk memperkuat daya saing jurnal secara nasional dan internasional.

A significant editorial transition has occurred at Jurnal Lingua Cultura, BINUS University, with the conclusion of Dr. Dra. Ienneke Indra Dewi, S.Th., M.Hum.’s term as Editor-in-Chief. Serving from 2013 to 2025, Dr. Ienneke has led the journal with academic rigor and dedication, contributing substantially to its growth as a reputable platform for scholarly work in language, culture, and communication studies.

As of June 2025, Irfan Rifai, S.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D., currently serving as Head of the English Department – Creative Digital English at BINUS University, has been appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief. The appointment was made by Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., Vice Rector for Research and Technology Transfer. Dr. Irfan brings extensive academic experience and a forward-looking vision that is expected to further strengthen the journal’s national and international reach.

BINUS University extends sincere appreciation to Dr. Ienneke for her twelve years of editorial leadership and commitment to advancing the journal. At the same time, the University warmly congratulates Dr. Irfan Rifai on his appointment and looks forward to continued excellence in scholarly publishing under his guidance.
