Navigating Academic Integrity: Understanding Research and Publication Ethics Batch 1, 2, and 3

The online meeting titled “Navigating Academic Integrity: Understanding Research and Publication Ethics in Accordance with Permendikbudristek No.39/2021 and COPE (” took place on November 13, 14, and December 5, 2024. The event aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of academic integrity within the context of research and publication. The focus was on the importance of maintaining ethical standards and ensuring transparency in academic work.

One of the key objectives of the session was to foster a deep appreciation for the significance of academic integrity in research and publication endeavors. By exploring the ethical frameworks and regulations, including Permendikbudristek No.39/2021 and the COPE guidelines, the meeting emphasized the need for researchers and academicians to uphold the highest standards of conduct, ensuring the credibility and trustworthiness of their scholarly output. Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., presented in batch 2 and 3 of the event and delivered an opening speech.

Furthermore, the session focused on the practical application of ethical principles, ensuring that participants were equipped with the knowledge to navigate the complexities of academic integrity in their research practices. By aligning with established regulations and guidelines, attendees were empowered to adhere to best practices in maintaining ethical standards throughout the research and publication process. The batches were led by Anzaludin Samsinga Perbangsa, S.Kom., M.M.S.I, , who guided participants through the critical aspects of academic integrity.
