On May 28, 2025, the Department of Research and Technology Transfer (RTT) at BINUS University, in collaboration with Binus Corporate Learning and Development (BCLND), successfully organized a hybrid workshop entitled “Kolaborasi Riset: Mengenali Peluang Hibah dari Lembaga Pendanaan Internasional.” This distinguished event featured a series of engaging coaching sessions delivered by esteemed speakers, including Dr. Ir. Juliastuti, M.T., the Research Coordinator and Faculty Member of Civil Engineering at BINUS University, and Nunung Nurul Qomariyah, S.Kom., M.T.I., Ph.D., the Subject Content Coordinator and Faculty Member of Computer Science at BINUS University. 

The primary objective of the workshop was to equip participants with essential competencies required for securing research grants at both national and international levels. The learning objectives encompassed the explanation of strategies for drafting research grant proposals at national and international levels, outlining the critical steps involved in the grant acquisition process, identifying suitable research grant schemes, providing insights to enhance success in the review process, and developing effective strategies for research outputs while familiarizing participants with various types of competitive research grants.

On May 27th, 2025, the BINUS University Department of Research and Technology Transfer (RTT) and Binus Corporate Learning and Development (BCLND) successfully conducted a hybrid workshop entitled “Kolaborasi untuk Perubahan: Meningkatkan Sinergi Pengabdian di Wilayah Binaan BINUS”. 

This event featured a series of insightful coaching sessions presented by esteemed speakers, including Dr. Pantri Heriyati, S.E., M.Comm., who is the Head of Social & Business Empowerment and a Doctor of Research in Management at BINUS University, as well as Dr. Maryani, S.Kom., MMSI., the Empowering Section Head at Research & Technology Transfer and a faculty member within the Information Systems Department. The primary objective of the workshop was to equip participants with the necessary skills to identify the needs and potentials of communities assisted by BINUS, as well as to design impactful community service programs that contribute to the enhancement of well-being and empowerment within these areas.

On May 23rd, 2025, the Research and Technology Transfer Office (RTTO) at the Anggrek Campus of BINUS University held an online workshop titled “Kuasai Panduan PKM 2025: Apa yang Baru, Apa yang Berubah?”. The event featured valuable coaching sessions delivered by distinguished speakers, including Ahmad Fikron Maulida, S.E., M.M., the Head of the Student Achievement Section at the Student Involvement Center, BINUS University, and Dr. Ata Aditya Wardana, S.TP., M.Si., Ph.D., Subject Content Coordinator in the Food Technology program, as well as a successful PIMNAS supervising lecturer and a mentor with the most funded proposals.

This workshop aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to navigate the newly released 2025 Student Creativity Program (PKM) Guidelines. Participants learned to identify the key changes and updates compared to the previous guidelines, understand the rationale and background behind the policy, structural, and technical adjustments, and analyze their implications for proposal development strategies across various PKM schemes. Furthermore, the workshop guided attendees in applying the new provisions when drafting proposals to ensure alignment with the 2025 standards and requirements. It also strengthened the readiness of both students and lecturers to participate effectively and mentor PKM initiatives at the university and national levels by the latest regulations.

On May 22, 2025, the BINUS University Department of Research and Technology Transfer (RTT) and Binus Corporate Learning and Development (BCLND) presented an online workshop named “Bongkar Potensi Riset Kolaboratif: Panduan Praktis Penggunaan CROWDBEES untuk Dosen & Mahasiswa”, delivered by Brilly Andro Makalew, S.Kom, M.T.I., as a Research and Empowerment Digital Specialist, BINUS University’s Research and Technology Transfer department, and Uswatun Khasanah as Project Relationship Officer, User Experience Branding, BINUS Digital. 

The workshop provided a comprehensive examination of the CROWDBEES platform as a robust tool for facilitating collaborative research between lecturers and students. Participants were exposed to the fundamental concepts, objectives, and advantages of utilizing CROWDBEES to enhance academic research endeavors. The session underscored the practical applications of the platform, aimed at improving time efficiency, optimizing resource utilization, and elevating research outcomes. Furthermore, the training equipped attendees with actionable strategies for designing, managing, and reporting collaborative research projects that align with their respective academic disciplines or personal research interests, fostering a more integrated and productive research environment.

On the 20th of May 2025, the BINUS University Department of Research and Technology Transfer (RTT)  presented an hybrid socialization named “Sosialisasi Open Data & Open Contributorship – Batch 3”. This workshop featured insightful coaching by Dr. Syauqi Abdurrahman Abrori, Section Head of International Publication at Research & Technology Transfer, BINUS University. The socialization aimed to enhance collaboration, foster innovation, promote transparency, and encourage the responsible use of shared knowledge and resources. Socialization teaches how to educate participants on the importance and benefits of open data and open contributions, empowering them to effectively access, share, and contribute to publicly available data and projects.
