Socialization of Research and Community Service Funding Schemes at BINUS University

BINUS University hosted a Socialization of Research and Community Service Funding Schemes on December 9, 2024, at the Kijang Campus. The event opened with a speech by Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., representing the Research and Technology Transfer office. It aimed to introduce updated funding schemes and guidelines for research and community service projects at the university, targeting faculty members and researchers.

The session featured presentations from Ridhwan Bugiansyah Rasid, S.E., S.Kom., Research Roadmap Section Head, explained the framework for Penelitian Pemula BINUS (PPB) and Penelitian Internasional BINUS – Dasar (PIB-D); Wisnu Ivan Kusuma, M.Si., Community Fostering Section Head, provided insights into BINUS Bangun Desa Untuk Nusantara (BBD-UN), BINUS Peduli Lingkungan – Teknologi Tepat Guna (BPL-TTG), and NGO/International Community Empowerment (NICE); Dr. Maryani, S.Kom, MMSI., Section Head – Community Empowering, delivered a comprehensive explanation to the participants’ question on the seven priority assisted villages for 2025; while Hendy Risdianto Wijaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Technology Transfer Specialist, elaborated on Penelitian Internasional BINUS – Terapan (PIB-T). Together, they outlined the specific requirements, evaluation processes, and submission guidelines for each funding program.

The event also announced the proposal submission period, running from December 10, 2024, to January 31, 2025, reflecting BINUS University’s commitment to fostering impactful research and community engagement.
