Visit to Gunadarma Technopark: A Collaborative Initiative for Integrated Development

On September 24, 2024, BINUS University was invited by Universitas Gunadarma to visit Gunadarma Technopark (UG Technopark). The event, organized by Universitas Gunadarma and hosted by Prof. Dr. ES Margianti, S.E., M.M., Rector of Universitas Gunadarma, featured participation from Hendy Risdianto Wijaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., a Technology Transfer Specialist from BINUS University. The visit aimed to introduce the potential of UG Technopark and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Gunadarma Technopark is a holistic and integrative development that supports activities in education, integrated agriculture, tourism, and comprehensive technology development. BINUS University’s participation emphasized the importance of academic partnerships in fostering innovation and enhancing the synergy between institutions to drive progress in these sectors.

Covering a total area of 62 hectares, Gunadarma Technopark has developed approximately 15 hectares (25%) of its land intensively since 2021. The Technopark aims to create an environment conducive to interdisciplinary research, development, and educational activities, aligning with BINUS University’s objectives to contribute to technological and sustainable growth.
