Empowering Future Scholars: BINUS University Hosts Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Expo
BINUS University menggelar Expo Skripsi Artikel Ilmiah dan Multi Disiplin pada 7 Juli 2025 di tiga kampus sebagai jalur kelulusan alternatif berbasis publikasi ilmiah. Dibuka oleh Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi. dan dihadiri Prof. Dr. Ir. Yohannes Kurniawan, S.Kom., S.E., MMSI, kegiatan ini mempertemukan mahasiswa, dosen, dan orang tua dalam forum ilmiah lintas disiplin. Expo ini memperkuat kompetensi riset mahasiswa dan peran BINUS dalam ekosistem riset global.

BINUS University held the Expo Skripsi Artikel Ilmiah dan Multi Disiplin on July 7, 2025, simultaneously across its Anggrek, Alam Sutera, and Bekasi campuses. The event provided a platform for undergraduate students to present their research articles as a scholarly alternative to the conventional thesis, supporting national efforts to implement flexible graduation standards through publication in indexed journals and international conferences.
The expo was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., Vice Rector for Research and Technology Transfer, who underscored the university’s commitment to fostering a research-driven academic environment. Also present was Prof. Dr. Ir. Yohannes Kurniawan, S.Kom., S.E., MMSI, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, alongside faculty members, thesis supervisors, and the students’ families. The gathering encouraged interdisciplinary dialogue and highlighted the importance of early engagement in academic publication.
This initiative equips students with foundational skills in research methodology, academic writing, and global scholarly communication. More than a requirement, it represents a strategic step in preparing graduates to contribute meaningfully to international knowledge networks while strengthening BINUS University’s reputation in research and innovation.
