Tsinghua SIGS visits BINUS University for Cross-Border Discussion for Education and Innovation

Pada 23 April, BINUS University menerima kunjungan delegasi dari Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS) dalam rangka diskusi lintas negara terkait pendidikan dan inovasi. Kunjungan ini membuka peluang kolaborasi akademik antara kedua institusi, mencakup program pertukaran dosen dan mahasiswa, sertifikasi profesional, hingga inisiatif penelitian bersama

On April 23, BINUS University had the pleasure of welcoming distinguished delegates from Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School. Their visit marked the beginning of a meaningful academic dialogue between two institutions with a shared vision: empowering future talents through global collaboration.

From faculty and student exchange to professional certification programs and joint academic initiatives, the conversations were rich with potential. We were honored to host Prof. Victor Chan, Prof. Ercan Kuruoglu, Assoc. Prof. Yang Peng, Li Manyuan—all from the Institute of Data and Information, Tsinghua SIGS, along with our friends from Trust Capital, Frans Wiantono and Getrin Saraswati.

The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Bernard Gunawan (Chairman of BINUS Group), Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M. (Rector of BINUS University), Ms. Theodora Subyantoro (Strategic Collaboration Manager), alongside deans, program heads, and our Research & Technology Transfer team, represented by Tommy Prayoga M.Psi.

On April 24, the journey continued as the delegates met with Surya Semesta Internusa, exploring opportunities to co-create a sustainable tech and education ecosystem that bridges Indonesia and China. As we build forward-looking partnerships, we’re excited about what’s to come—because collaboration is where innovation begins.
