Strengthening Informatics Education: BINUS University Collaborates with MGMP DKI Jakarta
Pada 20 Mei 2025, BINUS University menjalin kolaborasi dengan MGMP Informatika DKI Jakarta di Kampus Anggrek untuk memperkuat sinergi pendidikan. MGMP menjadi wadah guru Informatika berbagi praktik terbaik dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kolaborasi ini mendukung pengembangan profesional guru dan penyelarasan kurikulum dengan perkembangan teknologi.

On May 20, 2025, BINUS University hosted a collaborative meeting with the Informatics Subject Teachers’ Working Group (MGMP Informatika) of DKI Jakarta at the Anggrek Campus. This meeting served as a strategic platform to strengthen partnerships between higher education institutions and secondary education stakeholders in the field of Informatics. Representatives from BINUS University included Prof. Juneman Abraham (Research and Technology Transfer), Dr. Retno Dewanti (Community Empowerment Manager), and Dr. Maryani (Community Empowering – Section Head), highlighting the university’s commitment to community engagement and educational development.
The MGMP Informatika DKI Jakarta is a professional association that brings together Informatics teachers from various senior high schools across Jakarta. The group facilitates regular discussions, sharing of best practices, and collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of Informatics education. Its organizational leadership includes B. Bintoro (SMAN 70) as Chair, Hasan Basri (SMAN 9) as Vice Chair, Rika Maulina (SMAN 59) as Secretary, Syaiful Ramadhan (SMAN 106) as Treasurer, and Deden S (SMAN 47) overseeing Talent and Achievement Affairs.
This engagement reflects a mutual commitment to advancing Informatics education through knowledge exchange and capacity building. By fostering collaboration between university academics and high school educators, both institutions aim to elevate teaching standards, align curriculum development with current technological trends, and support the continuous professional development of Informatics teachers in Jakarta.
