Strategic Meeting Summary: BINUS FBRC Collaboration with PT Asimas on Tyherbs Development and BPOM Registration

Pada tanggal 16 Mei 2025, telah dilakukan pertemuan antara Pusat Riset Bioteknologi Pangan BINUS (FBRC) dan PT Agaricus Sido Makmur (Asimas) terkait pengembangan produk Tyherbs sebagai suplemen untuk membantu memelihara kesehatan penderita kanker. Beberapa poin penting yang dibahas meliputi finalisasi dan penandatanganan NDA, penyesuaian formula dari skala laboratorium ke skala industri, serta rencana pengajuan izin BPOM dan HALAL.

On May 16, 2025, a meeting was held between BINUS University’s Food Biotechnology Research Center (FBRC) and PT Agaricus Sido Makmur Sentosa (Asimas) to discuss the collaborative development of Tyherbs, a health supplement intended to support cancer patients. Key participants included Prof. Dr. Nesti F. Sianipar, Dr. Hendy Risdianto Wijaya, Khoirunnisa Assidqi, M.Si., and representatives from PT Asimas, Mr. Muhammad Hasyim Ashari, Director of PT Asimas, Fuma Aji, Marketing Manager PT Asimas, and Mr. Barjo, Legal PT Asimas. One of the main follow-up actions is the finalization of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), which has been submitted to PT Asimas for legal review and will be signed by both parties upon approval.

The formula must be scaled from laboratory to industrial levels while maintaining confidentiality. PT Asimas will conduct product research to ensure compliance with BPOM standards and requested scientific publications supporting the anticancer potential of Tipobio extract against MCF-7 breast cancer cells. Any final production post-BPOM registration will be legally binding since PT Asimas will serve as the registrant.
