BINUS University proudly announces its advancement in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2025, having secured a position in the 351–400 band in Asia and placing second nationally in Indonesia. This marks a significant rise from the previous year and reflects BINUS University’s steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality education and enhancing academic excellence. The recognition reinforces BINUS’s position as a world-class university committed to global standards of teaching and learning.
THE Asia University Rankings evaluates institutions based on five core indicators: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, International Outlook, and Industry Income. Notably, BINUS University’s progress in the rankings underscores its robust performance in research-related indicators, particularly in citation impact, research strength, excellence, and influence. These aspects collectively highlight the university’s growing reputation and output in scholarly research, as well as its ability to generate impactful knowledge contributing to academic and societal advancement.
In response to the recognition, Rector Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M., emphasized BINUS’s commitment to fostering a world-class learning environment and preparing students to thrive in the global workforce, aligning with the university’s quality target that two out of three graduates work for global companies or become entrepreneurs.
