Strengthening Academic and Diplomatic Ties: Türkiye Graduates’ Role in President Erdoğan’s Visit to Indonesia

Hilda Farida, S.P., M.Sc., the Section Head of Research Enrichment at the Research and Technology Transfer of BINUS University, was honored to represent Türkiye graduates during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s two-day visit to Indonesia. Appointed by the Turkish Embassy, she played a key role in accompanying the President, including welcoming him alongside Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Ritz Carlton, Mega Kuningan. Her responsibilities extended to serving as an interpreter and assisting with critical engagements throughout the visit.

A notable highlight was her involvement in facilitating an exclusive interview between President Erdoğan and Ms. Najwa Shihab for Mata Najwa, a highly regarded Indonesian talk show.
