Advancing Multidisciplinary Community Service: Insights from PkM OSA 2025

The International Multidisciplinary Community PkM Online Series (PkM OSA), organized by the Association of Community Service Lecturers of Indonesia (ADPI), concluded its latest session on February 3, 2025. This ongoing initiative integrates workshops, training, coaching, and mentoring at both national and international levels, supporting the Tridharma of Higher Education and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Held every semester, the program fosters collaboration among academics and professionals across disciplines, ensuring continuous engagement in research and community service.

Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., Vice Rector for Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University, delivered a welcome speech at the event. As a prominent academic leader, he emphasized the significance of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing research and community service initiatives. His address underscored the role of higher education institutions in bridging knowledge and practice, particularly in tackling global challenges aligned with the SDGs. Retno Dewanti, M.M., Ph.D., Community Empowerment BINUS University also presented at the event among others.

The event also featured welcome speeches, including Dr. Selestine Focus Mushi from Agricultural Development and Green Africa Youth Organization, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Badrul Hisham Yahaya from Universiti Sains Malaysia, and the rectors of Universitas Islam Riau and Politeknik Pariwisata Bali. In addition to the welcome speeches, participants engaged in keynote and plenary sessions, where experts shared insights on sustainable development, education, and multidisciplinary approaches to community service.
